We are currently under Construction! However, I wanted to take some time to let you know what we are going to be doing here.
It’s 2018. You can choose to be male or female and so many things. Yet, in our advanced minds we still struggle with things like gender stereotyping. Women make up a huge portion of the Gaming industry today. However, it is one of the toughest places for a woman to be.
When a woman enters a Gaming community she has to work twice as hard to prove herself as a man. I am a woman in the gaming community. I write articles on how to play a few mobile games. However, there are times when I still feel as if I am discounted because I am a woman.
I remember one day my co-writer Aly and I were discussing the fact that when we brought a new member to our writing team it should probably be a man. Why? Because the men would respect that player and take that player more seriously. It is sad that this even came into our minds.
I am a Woman.. I’m also a Gamer and a good one. My gender should not matter and neither should yours. So here we want to create a place for women. A place where women in various Gaming communities can support each other and we can talk about the issues that are at hand. We’re excited to get started but for now… Pardon our dust as we are under Construction.
